EMI Calculator - Loan Planner

Carmela ("we," "us," or "our") built the EMI Calculator - Loan Planner application (the "App") as a free, ad-supported application. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform users ("you" or "your") about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

- Calculation history: Saved using a local Room database on your device to allow you to review past calculations.

- User preferences: Settings such as dark mode preference and currency selection are stored locally using Android DataStore.

This data remains exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You may clear this data at any time by clearing the App's data through your device's Settings > Apps > EMI Calculator - Loan Planner > Storage > Clear Data.

2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

2.1 Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect certain information from your device for the purpose of serving personalized or non-personalized ads. This may include:

- Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)

- IP address

- General location data (based on IP address)

- App usage data related to ad interactions

The App requires the INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions solely for the purpose of loading and displaying advertisements through Google AdMob. These permissions are not used for any other purpose, and no user data is transmitted over the internet by the App itself.

3. DATA SECURITY

We are committed to protecting your information. Since all calculation data and user preferences are stored locally on your device, the security of this data is managed by your device's built-in security features, including device encryption and screen lock protection. We do not have access to any data stored on your device.

4. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email address below, and we will take appropriate action.

5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data:

- To delete calculation history and preferences, go to your device's Settings > Apps > EMI Calculator - Loan Planner > Storage > Clear Data.

- Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all locally stored data.

We do not retain any user data on our servers because we do not collect any user data.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. All data generated by the App is stored locally on your device and is fully under your control.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
