LGBTQ+ Club
Overview
The Dwight Global LGBTQ+ school club is a student-led organization that helps provide and foster a safe and supportive space for students who identify as non-heterosexual or non-cisgender identity. The purpose of the club is to create a welcoming and inclusive community for LGBTQ+ students to socialize, share experiences, raise awareness about LGBTQ issues and provide a platform to address concerns and help make the Dwight Global community a more inclusive one.
Guidelines for Organization
The Dwight Global LGBTQ+ club is looking for students who identify with the LGBTQ+ community and who are interested in making Dwight Global a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive school. Members should:
Be supportive and accepting of all groups of people, and embrace the celebration of all individuals for who they are.
Respect everyone's opinions, even if they are different from your own.
Listen with your heart, not your ears.
Keep discussions confidential!
2022-2023 Meeting Information
The club meets weekly on Fridays at 1PM EST during the school year.
