DVH PDF Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to DVH PDF.
DVH PDF is designed as a local-first PDF reader and document utility. Our goal is to perform document processing on your device whenever possible.
DOCUMENT PROCESSING
DVH PDF performs its core PDF reading, searching, signing, markup, page organization, PDF creation, compression, and password-related operations on your device.
DVH PDF does not upload your PDF documents to a DVH PDF server.
PASSWORD-PROTECTED PDFS
When you open a password-protected PDF, DVH PDF uses the password only as needed to access the document during the current app session.
DVH PDF does not intentionally store PDF passwords in analytics, cloud storage, or remote servers.
The app may create a temporary unlocked copy in app-private device storage so the document can be displayed or processed. The original protected PDF is not modified unless you explicitly choose to create a new output file.
CREATED FILES
PDFs created or modified using DVH PDF may be stored in the app's private device storage so you can reopen, rename, share, export, or delete them.
When you choose to save or share a file outside DVH PDF, Android or the third-party app you select handles the destination.
RECENT DOCUMENTS, BOOKMARKS, AND READING POSITION
DVH PDF may store local device information needed to provide features such as:
• Recent documents
• Bookmarks
• Last-read page
• Created PDF history
This information is stored locally on your device.
SIGNATURES AND INITIALS
If you choose to save a signature or initials for reuse, DVH PDF stores those images in app-private device storage.
Saved signatures and initials are not uploaded to a DVH PDF server.
You can remove saved signature information from within the signing workflow.
DOCUMENT SCANNER
DVH PDF uses Google Play services technology to provide document scanning functionality.
Google Play services may download or update components required for document scanning. Google's handling of information through Google Play services is governed by Google's applicable privacy policies and device settings.
OCR AND TEXT RECOGNITION
DVH PDF may use on-device text recognition technology to identify text in scanned or image-based documents.
Recognized text is used to provide features such as search and highlighting within DVH PDF.
GOOGLE PLAY PURCHASES
DVH PDF offers optional Pro subscriptions through Google Play.
Google Play processes subscription payments. DVH PDF does not receive or store your payment card number.
The app may receive information from Google Play necessary to determine subscription status, such as product identifiers, purchase status, acknowledgement status, and purchase tokens.
DVH PDF may store a limited local record of the most recently verified Pro entitlement so temporary Google Play connectivity problems do not immediately disable recently verified Pro access.
ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS
DVH PDF does not include advertising.
DVH PDF does not operate its own advertising or analytics service for tracking user activity across apps or websites.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
DVH PDF uses certain Google-provided Android and Google Play services, including services used for:
• Google Play Billing
• Document scanning
• On-device text recognition
These services may process limited device, app, diagnostic, or transaction-related information according to Google's own policies.
DATA RETENTION
Documents, recent-file information, bookmarks, reading position, saved signatures, and other app-created information are generally retained locally on your device until you remove them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
DVH PDF does not maintain a user account database for the current version of the app.
DATA DELETION
Because DVH PDF does not require a DVH PDF account, there is no remote DVH PDF account to delete.
Locally stored app information can be removed by using available deletion controls within the app, clearing DVH PDF app data through Android settings, or uninstalling the app.
SECURITY
DVH PDF is designed to keep document processing local to your device. Files stored in app-private Android storage are protected by Android's application sandbox and device security mechanisms.
CHILDREN
DVH PDF is a general-purpose productivity application and is not specifically directed toward children.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated if DVH PDF's features, data practices, or third-party services change.
The current effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
