Silent Online Auction

The Silent Auction will be open for bidding from Monday, March 22, 2021 to Monday, April 26, 2021. You do not need to attend the Zoom Event on April 23 to bid.

All donations are now available and open for bidding.

Open the bidding sheet by clicking on it. On the bidding sheet, provide us with your name, your email and your bid. You can write below an existing bid to outbid someone. Please do not erase previous bids.

Please bid in increments of $5.00 or more.

If you're having trouble entering a bid, email Ellen Kruse at enkruse@comcast.net. Tell her what you want to bid on and the amount, and she will enter it for you. This website and online silent auction are new to all of us, and we know links and computers may not work as we'd like them to. Let's try this experiment knowing there's usually a work-around.

At noon on Monday, April 26, bidding will end. Ellen Kruse will email you the results. Please make your check payable to DVCRA and mail it to

Made to order Face Masks sewn by Ellen Kruse.

Sign up on the sign-up sheet with your email. Ellen will send photos of fabrics to select from and will sew face masks in the fabrics, styles, and sizes you select.

$13 per face mask. $10 will go to the scholarship fund of the DVCRA, $3 will cover USPS mailing costs. If you order 2, $3 will cover shipping costs for both.

Face masks will still be needed for a while longer and now have become a fashion accessory. Nancy Pelosi has one for every outfit, like the Queen of England has hats.

In addition, children are now in need of face masks. Ellen has several sizes suitable for men, women, youngsters (ages 6-12), and toddlers (ages 2-5).

Ellen has three styles of face masks. All have adjustable elastic bands to go over the ears and an extra piece of elastic to allow the face mask to hang as a necklace when not in use.

Style #1 has a wire to shape the top of the face mask to your nose and a wire to keep the face mask away from your nose and mouth

Style #2 has pleats that are vertical and keep the face mask away from the nose and mouth with no need for wires.

Style #3 has a rectangular part that covers the nose and triangular folds that cover the upper nose and chin. No need for wires on this one either.

Ellen will explain the options and let you choose which pattern of face mask and fabric you want.

Please note that some fabrics in the photo may not be available.
