Welcome to the Dusanowski Group!
We are a quantum optics and nanophotonics group in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Florida State University. Our research is at the crossroads of multiple fields, including material science, solid-state physics, nanophotonics, quantum optics, and quantum information science. Our efforts are focused on isolating individual quantum emitters with active spin states, such as ion dopants or defects in solids, and engineering strong interactions between them and photons using nanoscale optical structures. Our aim is to explore those systems as quantum memories and quantum light sources to study fundamental physics and uncover their potential applications in quantum technologies.
