I am an empirical economist. My research interests are in the areas of development policy, institutions, political economy, migration, and international economics. I primarily seek to understand institutional and development impacts of cross-border factor movements. I earned my Ph.D. in economics at West Virginia University in 2015. I am the recipient of Vickers Research Paper Award at WVU. Previously, I received a B.Sc. and an M.A. in economics from Tribhuvan University. Later, I obtained a graduate certificate in data mining and a master's degree in economics at Central Michigan University.
My teaching experience includes international economics, international political economy, poverty in developing countries, principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, survey of economics, intermediate algebra, and college algebra. I am currently serving as visiting faculty in the Department of Economics at the University of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia.
