Celebrating Black History Month
Our Duniway Belonging Board, in the hallway leading to the auditorium, currently showcases just a few of the outstanding talents and intellects from the past and present in celebration of black history month and excellence. Please take a minute to read about these amazing people and their lives and appreciate examples of their work. Each has made important contributions to our broader culture and community, whether in the creative arts, science, politics, or social justice, and more.
In the event of a mental health crisis, call the Multnomah County Mental Health Crisis Line 503-988-4888 or 1-800-716-9769 and ask for “Project Respond.”
Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Dial 988 (Formerly National Suicide Prevention Lifeline)
We can all help prevent suicide. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones.
The 988 Lifeline is now active across the United States. This new, shorter phone number will make it easier for people to remember and access mental health crisis services. (Please note, the previous 1-800-273-TALK (8255) number will continue to function indefinitely.)
