Dulce Detroit Childcare Cooperative LLC offers year-round childcare services such as in-home care, meetings, celebratory events, conferences, etc. We were founded as a team of 4 worker-owners. All of our Co-founders, Jocelyn Almanza, Maria Talamantes, Shacheli Gomez, Anthony Ells are co-owners with equal shares. No outside investors are involved at this point in time, though there might be an opportunity for that as the business grows. We aim to provide quality training and skills to our co-founders that will allow them to work with families in our community in an effective and caring way.

We plan to build a Bilingual Immersion program in the near future within our childcare program that will ease the transition of children with a primary language other than English. We strive to allow our participants to feel as included as possible by incorporating their primary language into a program that will provide social-emotional, cognitive, and language skills as well as physical and fine motor development by offering educational and play-based activities.
