I am Dulanji Niki Amaraweera; I graduated with a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Iowa in May 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Ionut Chifan. My research interests span Functional Analysis, Operator Algebras, and Geometric Group Theory.

In addition to my research, I have nearly a decade of teaching experience across a wide range of undergraduate mathematics courses, including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Real and Complex Analysis, Numerical Methods, and Statistics.
