Your business data stays on your device
Bills, parties (customers and suppliers), items, stock, payments, ledgers, GST reports, settings and backups that you create in DukanDesk are stored only on your own device. We do not run a server for this data and we cannot see, collect or sell it. There is no login. When you choose to share something (for example a bill PDF on WhatsApp, a backup file, or a GST data file for your accountant), it is sent by the app you pick, under that app's privacy policy. DukanDesk does not keep a copy.
Device permissions
Camera: only to scan barcodes when you tap the scan button. Images are not saved or uploaded.
Notifications: to show GST due-date and trial reminders, which are created on your device.
Internet: for Google Play purchases and, during the free trial, advertisements.
Advertising during the free trial (Google AdMob)
During the 7-day free trial the app shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob. Ads stop after you buy the app. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google: the device advertising ID and app set ID, IP address (used for approximate location), ad interactions, and diagnostic information. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The one-time purchase is processed by Google Play. We do not receive your card, UPI or bank details. The app only checks with Google Play whether the purchase is active on your account.
Data we receive
We receive data only if you contact us yourself, for example by WhatsApp or email. We use it only to reply to you and do not share it.
Children
DukanDesk is a business app meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Deleting data
Because your data is only on your device, you can delete it at any time from Settings > Delete all data in the app, or by uninstalling the app (uninstalling removes all app data; keep a backup first if you need it).
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
