My name is Sabine Düval. I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the German Youth Institute (DJI) and a Guest Researcher at the Federal Institute for Population Research (BIB). I hold a PhD in Sociology from LMU Munich.

My research focuses on quantitative methods in empirical social research, including factorial survey experiments, panel data, and survey methodology, such as questionnaire design, sampling techniques, and child interviewing. In addition, I investigate the division of paid and unpaid labor among couples and gender role attitudes.

Currently, I work in the EU-funded project GUIDEPREP which aims to establish Europe’s first comparative birth cohort study of children’s and young people’s well-being. I also work as an expert in in-house consulting in quantitative methods at the DJI.
