Duc M. Nguyen

Welcome to my website! 

I will join the Department of Economics at Amherst College as an Assistant Professor in July 2025. I received my Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto.

My fields are macroeconomics and economic development. My primary research interests focus on understanding factors driving cross-country income differences through the lens of structural transformation and resource misallocation.
