I’m a PhD student in Physics at Nagoya University (Japan), working with Prof. Kunimasa Miyazaki. My research interests include glass/jamming transition, active matter, soft matter, and nonequilibrium physics.
I grew up in Hanoi, Vietnam, and attended the High School for Gifted Students at Hanoi University of Science. Later, I moved to Japan, where I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Nagoya University before continuing on to my PhD. More details can be found in my CV / 経歴.
Alongside my studies, rowing has been an important part of my life. I previously rowed with the Nagoya University Rowing Club / 名古屋大学漕艇部, and now I have the joy of coaching the students there. I also love listening to and playing music, especially classical. In my younger years, table tennis, sailing, kayaking, and swimming were my favorite pastimes, and I still return to them whenever I can. If you’re curious, a few snapshots of my research and my life are in my Gallery / ギャラリー.
I've been lucky to have kind teachers and mentors who were generous with their time and patient with my questions, and friends who made the good times better and the hard times lighter. They are a big part of who I am today.
My family has always been my home, even from far away. Their unconditional love and quiet support have given me the courage to follow my curiosity and the confidence to keep growing as a person.
I share updates, in and out of research, in News / お知らせ, and I’d love to hear from you through Contact / お問い合わせ.
