Hello, I'm Duc Cao, a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My primary research focus is on International Trade, Microeconomics, Labor Economics, Development Economics, and small open economy dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) model in macroeconomics. I have completed two working papers, and I have a full pipeline of work in progress. Each paper is part of a larger effort to fully define the relationship between economic integration and the composition of labor in Vietnam.

I have taught two courses at the University of Tennessee. i.e., Intermediate Microeconomics and Monetary Economics. My teaching evaluation for these courses resulted in 4.0/5.0. The students’ evaluations highlighted that my teaching was rigorous, motivating, and highly relevant, and they emphasized that I showed genuine concern for my students’ success. In addition, I worked as a teaching assistant for several undergraduate and graduate courses.

I am on the job market, and I plan to attend the 2019 AEA annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.
