Privacy Policy — Kur'an ve Dua

This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile application Kur'an ve Dua ("Application"). The Application provides prayer times, Quran reading and recitation, duas, a quiz, prayer tracking, and optional community features.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

- Display name (optional): During onboarding you may enter a name/nickname. This name is stored on your device and, if provided, is also transmitted to our backend (Google Firebase) and used to (a) identify you in optional community features (e.g. prayer-sharing and the online quiz), where it may be visible to other users, and (b) help us understand our user base. You can use the core features (prayer times, Quran, duas) without entering a name.

- Approximate location: With your permission, we use your device's approximate location to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. We may also derive your approximate country/city from your IP address for the same purpose and for regional statistics. We do not collect precise GPS location or track your movements.

- Anonymous identifier: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication, which assigns a random anonymous ID to your installation. This ID is not linked to your real-world identity.

- Locally stored data: Preferences, favorites, prayer-tracking progress and similar usage data are stored on your device.

We do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location.

2. Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services that may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:

- Google Play Services — https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Google Firebase (Realtime Database, Anonymous Authentication, and analytics/crash reporting) — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

- AppLovin MAX (advertising; may collect device identifiers/advertising ID to deliver ads) — https://www.applovin.com/privacy/

- Google Play Billing (for the optional Premium subscription) — https://policies.google.com/privacy

3. Advertising and Premium

The free version may display ads served through AppLovin MAX and its mediation partners, which may use device/advertising identifiers. You can remove all ads by purchasing the Premium subscription via Google Play Billing; purchase and subscription management are handled by Google Play.

4. Data Retention

- Local data remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the Application.

- Server data (such as the display name and approximate region stored in Firebase) is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services, or until you request deletion.

- Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their respective policies.

5. Data Deletion and Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time:

- Local data: Clear the Application's cache/data in your device settings, or uninstall the Application. (Note: uninstalling removes local data but does not delete data already stored on our servers.)

- Server data (Firebase): To permanently delete the display name and any associated data stored on our backend, email us at ozantrk21@gmail.com. We will fulfill your request within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

The Application is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
