Plant anatomy is the study of the organization of tissues into the organs of the plant. It also included cytology and histology. The term cytology is the study of cells and histology is the study of tissues. Plant anatomy is now frequently investigated at the cellular level, and often involves the sectioning of tissues and microscopy. The course also provides the relationship between the structure and functions of plant cells, tissues and organs.
