Weekly Spelling Test

There will be no spelling test this week!

Read-alouds:

Do unto Otters: A Book About Manners

Objective: be able to listen respectfully and explain how characters treat others

What If Everybody Did That?

Objective: be able to explain how a character's choices affects others.

A Little Spot of Emotions

Objective: be able to identify feelings and explain how to make positive choices when having BIG feelings

Monday: Welcome to Math

Learning Target: Be able to show numbers different ways

Tuesday: How many?

Learning Target: Be able to count objects and tell how many there are.

Wednesday: How many ways can we make it?

Learning Target: Be able to make numbers in differnt ways

Thursday: Put Groups Together

Learning Target: Be able to put groups together and find how many there are altogether

Friday: Math About Me

Learning Objective: Be able to use numbers and pictures to tell something about myself

Students will learn that scientists observe, ask questions, and investigate, while engineers identify problems and design solutions.

Design Challenge:

Build a seat for a small stuffed animal
