2018 International Workshop

Defense Technology and Security

DTS 2018, International Workshop on Defense Technology and Security, will be held at the Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, July 2-5, 2018. (It is organized as a workshop of the 18th International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications (ICCSA 2018))


This workshop aims to be the premier forum for the presentation of the state of the art research work in defense technology and security areas related to the theory, policy, law, technical development, applications and experiences.

Scope:

Original research contributions are solicited covering a variety of topics including but not limited to:

- weapon system technology

- cyber defense technology

- system engineering for weapon system

- system assurance for weapon system

- test and evaluation techniques for weapon system

- defense industrial security

- defense scientific and technical information security

- law, policy and strategy related with defense technology and security



Important Dates:

Papers submission: March 15, 2018 (hard deadline)

Notification of acceptance: April 8, 2018

Camera ready papers and pre-registration: May 6, 2018

Workshop : July 2-5, 2018


Submission:

The submitted paper must be between 8 to 16 pages long for LNCS publication, and should be formatted according to the LNCS rules. Please consult the URL http://www.iccsa.org/instructions-for-authors for formatting information and templates.


To submit a paper, please refer to instructions available on the ICCSA 2018 web site. Only papers submitted through the electronic submission.


Each paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors).


Each paper will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field ensuring the publication of only top quality contributions.


All accepted papers will be included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series and indexed by Scopus, EI Engineering Index, Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (included in ISI Web of Science), and several other indexing services. The papers will contain linked references, XML versions and citable DOI numbers.


When a paper is accepted, at least one of the authors has to register to the conference and deliver the related talk.
