[PhD position I had until recently is already filled]
My name is Dmitrii Todorov, I am a scientist using mathematics and computer science to understand how the brain works. In other words, I work in the field of computational neuroscience. Earlier I also worked in pure mathematics research, specifically dynamical systems (chaos and ergodic theory).
I am passionate about working with dynamical phenomena on all levels. From very abstract pure math analysis to very down-to-earth code implementation and translational applications in medicine.
Since 2024 I am heading CONEMOT research group at INSERM/Sorbonne University in Paris within Laboratory for Biomedical Imaging as a Chaire professeur junior INSERM (~assistant professor) position. Here I apply computational neuroscience to advance the understanding of motor learning.
You can find the list of my publications (both in neuroscience and in mathematics) and software at the research tab. For other information please look at my CV.
P.S. I was born in Russia but I moved away a long time ago. I am very much opposed to the Russia's war against Ukraine.
