What is it?

By this stage you should understand the full shape of your product, what materials you will use and how it will be constructed. Now you need to consider the finer details such as logos, surface decorations, edges, feet, buttons electronics, etc...

Consider your project 90% designed, this is very important to get the finishing touches - Without the apple logo, the I-Phone wont look as good.

Tips?

- Don't just slap vinyl on your project, you could make masks,

etchings - think differently.

- Think where you position these, you don't need yo cover the

whole project, just a bit looks better.

- Don't make them too big, subtle/small is better.

Content Checklist...

It must contain:

- Introduction to page content

- You could use sketches, models and CAD models to

communicate your designs.

- Generate and develop ideas for a range of areas.

- Logos

- Buttons

- Rounding edges

- Surface decorations

- lights

- Cut through holes

- Surface finishes (shinny, matt, varnish etc)

- Relevant Annotation of the designs

- Explain your thinking as you design and develop your

design.

- Direct the user around the page like they are reading a story, so they fully understand what is on the page.

- Make it clear what has been decided and what the product

now looks like.
