Course Introduction:

The course will discuss the critical factors required to foster technopreneurship and share Singapore's experience in developing a vibrant start-up ecosystem. 

Overall Goal:

• Understand ecosystem and policies to support entrepreneurship and incubation of start-ups;

• Know the introduction to venture management;

• Understand the key challenges faced in starting a venture; and

• Know the Singapore’s experience in start-up accelerators and incubators.

Target Participants:

The candidate must meet the following qualifications set by SCP:

• 25-55 years old.

• Mid- to senior-level officials involved in developing policies for technopreneurship and start-ups Proficient in written and spoken English. 

• With at least five (5) years of service in the government

Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP), in coordination with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority
