"Opulent Elegance: Meets Modern" embodies the spirit of innovation in fashion design. This theme celebrates the timeless appeal of Rococo while embracing the practicality and simplicity of modern aesthetics. The result is a harmonious fusion that captivates the senses, offering occupants a unique and immersive experience that transcends the boundaries of time and style.

Rococo emerged in France in the 1720s and remained the predominant design style until it fell out of fashion in the 1770s. Workshop #1: Dive into Rococo Style

Sun 1/28 3-5 pm at Canon Music, Cupertino.

In this workshop, designers are introduced to Rococo fashion style and will make a fashion accessory in Rococo style. All materials provided.  Great for  3rd grade  and up.

Meet Our Host: Chloe Wu

Ms. Wu Is WhyFashion founder, a professor on fashion design and pattern making. Her studio offers fashion design and sewing classes for kids and adults with all levels. She got her PHD degree in fashion design and engineering from College of Fashion and Design of Donghua University. After graduating she became a professor, taught fashion design, pattern making, fabrics and textiles, sewing technique etc. classes in Fashion  institute. Over ten years ago she came to the USA, and now shares her passion and professional skills to the future designers.

We successfully hosted the first ever Junior Fashion at the festival on 9/16/23.  More than 30 designer pieces have been showcased at the event.  We are amazed by the creativity and enthusiasm of our fellow designers!
