I was associated with Teach for Nepal

After high school, I was associated with Teach for Nepal. Teach for Nepal is a nonprofit organization. It committed to ending educational inequity in Nepal. I am also committed to working towards a more equitable and just society through education.

Awarded

I taught in public schools, and I worked in socially marginalized communities in rural Nepal. And I believe that education is a powerful tool for social change and that every student deserves access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Nepal STEM Alliance

I am working as a Community Builder at Nepal STEM Alliance, where I serve as the Team Leader/ Community Builder for Coding Olympics Nepal, a prestigious coding competition organized by Nepal STEM Alliance. In this role, I have taken on the responsibilities of a mentor and tutor for participants. Coding Olympics Nepal stands as the largest school-level coding competition in my country, andproviding guidance and support to school-level students in their programming pursuits. Having successfully completed Coding Olympics Nepal.

Community builder for Coding Olympics Nepal. On behalf of Nepal STEM Alliance, I run approximately 27 programs in over 15 schools and colleges throughout Nepal.

Coding can help students become better communicators, as it requires clear and concise communication of ideas and solutions. Thus, we are looking for students' interest in being used to answer questions and address concerns about the digital world. Coding teaches students to think logically and break complex problems into smaller, more manageable parts. Improved Critical Thinking: Coding requires students to analyze, evaluate, and debug their code, which can improve their critical thinking skills.

Coding Workshop

I taught coding and help to gain hands-on experience, cover basics like algorithms and coding structures, and include a free coding course. Attending this workshop helped students gain valuable skills for their future careers.

I raise awareness of the importance of technology and share knowledge, ultimately contributing to the development of the technology system in Nepal.
