October 12, 2024, at 6:30 AM, at Siniloan Integrated National High School, the 2024 Division School Press Conference (DSPC) has officially started where young journalists ready to compete from different districts of Laguna attend. Orientation about the start of the conference, here, a discussion regarding the rules and regulations of the competition are said, as well as the requirements, and the materials needed to begin the competition.

Next, the competition begins with a one-hour mini press conference attended by SIniloan Mayor Hon. Patrick Ellis Z. Go PhD, ASDS Jaypee E. Lopo of the DepEd Division Office, EPS Roderica R. Lamacho on regards of Special Education, and Sir Ivan Reyes, a Math Adviser. Here they were interviewed by young campus journalists on the topic of Education.

Afterwards, the attendees left and the journalists were sent to their designated rooms sorted by category and language, where they begin to create articles, and websites that will be used to judge who wins the 2024 DSPC, making them qualified for the Regional Level of competition, also known as Region Schools Press Conference.
