One Woman: Rachel Belga

Rachel Belga is a impressive woman who was able to compete in the national games despite being the only female contestant representing the CALABARZON even without proper equipment nor training. She was ranked number 14 in the “Palarong Pambansa”. Her other opponents was able to train in other countries or places that’s very far and were said to be possessing very high quality bows and arrows in the game.

Everyday after school, Rachel belga was training within the school grounds. The equipments that they were using was just hand me downs from the former high school students. The coach always trains them all so they get used to all the competitions. She was ble to balance out her academics and her sport very well, she is part of the strand “STEM”.

Rachel Belga was able to travel for free in cebu because she was a representative of CALABARZON, she also got to tour the city. Due to her determination in these competitiobs, she was able to take home six golden medals and one bronze.
