Welcome to our neighbourhood!
Who are we?
DCSCA members live, work or study in Drysdale, Clifton Springs or Curlewis. We work to improve the quality of our environment and the well-being of our community.
What do we do?
- We meet regularly to discuss events in the community and how it is changing
- We collaborate with other local groups and organisations in projects to improve local people's well-being
- We lobby organisations whose actions affect our environment and community, e.g. local councils, coastal management authorities, Vic Roads
- We try to represent local people's ideas, views and hopes.
Day-to-day, DCSCA is run by a committee elected at our Annual General Meeting. Any DCSCA member is welcome to attend DCSCA committee meetings.
In 2018-2019, the DCSCA committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 5.00pm at the SpringDale Neighourhood Centre, 17-21 High Street, Drysdale.
What can YOU do?
If you, too, want to improve the well-being of our community, we'd love to hear from you.
Perhaps you'd like a new leisure, recreational or sports facility in the area; perhaps you're concerned with how the area is changing; or perhaps you want better public services and transport.
Whatever your interest, together we can make things happen!
