Our research is focused on topics at the intersection of fluid mechanics and dynamics and controls, including pioneering innovative design concepts to enhance the performance of aircraft and underwater vehicles, optimization of nonlinear dynamic systems, and developing low-order models for controlling aircraft in extreme flight conditions, such as dynamic stall.
