Education:

• M. Eng., Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) Beijing, China;
• B. Eng., Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) Beijing, China.

Research Interests:

• Steel-making, conventional continuous casting and thin slab casting.
• Hot rolling and thermomechanical processing.
• Cold rolling and annealing.
• Grain growth and phase transformation

Current Projects:

• Development of hot-rolled ultra high-strength steel grade 90, 100 & 110;
• Improve edge stretchability of HSLA and UHSS steels;
• Development of hot-rolled AHSS steels (F+PPT, F+B, F+B+M);
• Development of API X52, 65, 70 & 80 to meet low temperature DBTT and DWTT requirements;
• Development of cold-rolled batch-annealed HSLA grade 50, 60 & 70;
• Electrical steel development.
