As a postgraduate in Information Technology from Tezpur University, I have a significant background in Computer Science. I completed my Ph.D. work in network security and machine learning, and my thesis entitled "Network Anomaly Detection and Prevention using Statistical and Machine Learning Approaches" at Tezpur University under the supervision of Prof. Dhruba Kumar Bhattacharyya in 2019. 

• Cleared UGC NET 2022

• I had completed my M. Tech. Degree in Information Technology from the School of Engineering in Tezpur University (Tezpur, Assam, India) with a distinction mark securing 8.6 (CGPA) in 2014.

• I had completed my B. E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from GIMT, under Gauhati University (Guwahati, Assam, India) secured 74.58 percent in 2012.

My Research Goals:

1. To carry out research on classification problems in the Machine learning area, which I started in my Ph. D. tenure in the domain of network security to apply it on critical sectors.

2. In the short term, I would like to apply machine learning and data science knowledge for the betterment of society by developing technology to aid in different sectors, like, health, water-conserving, transport, electricity, etc.
