Qualified and accepted to register to both Bilkent University Computer Technology and Information Systems, Ankara and Maltepe University Medical School, Istanbul  /*  He was also qualified and accepted to study in several fields in engineering including computer, electric electronics, civil, industrial engineering, management, economics, medical schools, dentistry, genetics just to name a few*/   (He Switched his preference from medical school to informatics '& software engineering in the last week of university preference time period following the booming IT /*information technology*/trend and surprised his parents who were expecting Dr. Özerk Yavuz to be a medical doctor. But later following his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D studies He was given the Dr. title and worked in several universities, businesses and politics as Professor.)

As some of his professors said, he  has been more than an ideal student and colleague for his parents, family, teachers, professors and colleagues. Therefore He had been respected, admired, appreciated, supported and loved a lot.

(-Unfortunately Disqualified because of health conditions, having myophia +0.50. in the health examinations despite the fact that he was (s)elected for registration to the school.
