Quick Summary (At a Glance)

At BRN Interactive, we believe great gaming experiences start with respect for player privacy. Dropblox is built as a self-contained, offline-first casual puzzle game:

• No Accounts Required: We never ask for your name, email, phone number, or social media logins to play.

• No Selling of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for money.

• Local Game Storage: Your scores, selected theme, settings, and game saves are stored only on your device.

• Ads with Your Consent: We use Google AdMob to show ads. Players in the EEA and UK are asked for consent before any ads are requested, and can change their choice at any time in the game.

---

1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the mobile application Dropblox, developed and published by BRN Interactive. It explains what minimal information is collected when you play our game, how that data is used, and how you can control your privacy choices.

By installing, launching, or playing Dropblox, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

---

2. Data Transparency Overview

• Gameplay Data (high scores, current board state, selected theme, language): Processed by the game, stored only on your device (SharedPreferences). Never shared externally.

• Game Settings (sound effects, haptic vibration, reduced motion): Processed by the game, stored only on your device. Never shared externally.

• Consent Choices (EEA/UK players): Collected by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK when you answer the consent form. Your choice is stored on your device and passed to Google and its advertising partners so they can respect it.

• Device Identifiers (Google Advertising ID, device model, OS version): Processed by the Google AdMob SDK and stored on Google's servers. Used to show ads, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud.

• Diagnostics (ad performance and ad-related crash information): Processed by the Google AdMob SDK and stored on Google's servers. Used to keep ads working reliably.

---

3. Android Permissions & Why We Need Them

Dropblox requests only the minimum Android permissions:

• android.permission.VIBRATE (Haptic Feedback): Used only to play short vibrations when you place blocks, clear lines, or build combos. You can turn this off at any time in the in-game Settings.

• android.permission.INTERNET: Required to load Google AdMob ads (Banner, Interstitial, and Rewarded Video) and the consent form. The game itself can be played without an internet connection; only ads and the Second Chance feature require one.

• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Lets the ad SDK check whether a network connection is available before requesting ads, avoiding unnecessary battery and data use.

• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Added automatically by the Google AdMob SDK. Allows access to the Google Advertising ID for ad delivery and measurement.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Dropblox is free to download and play thanks to ads served by Google AdMob.

How ads appear in Dropblox:

1. Banner Ads: Shown at the bottom of the screen, separated from the puzzle board to help prevent accidental taps.

2. Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads that appear only when a game ends, at most once every 4 completed games, and never during active play. If you watched a rewarded ad during a game, no interstitial ad is shown at the end of that game.

3. Rewarded Video Ads: Optional ads used only for the "Second Chance" feature, and played only when you choose to watch one to continue your game.

Consent (EEA and UK): If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Dropblox shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform before any ads are requested. No ads are requested until you have made a choice. You can choose whether to allow personalized advertising.

Ad content is filtered according to the settings we configure in AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy:

• Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

• How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

5. Managing Your Ad Choices

You have control over your advertising preferences:

• In-Game Privacy Settings (EEA and UK): Open Settings → Privacy Settings in Dropblox at any time to review or change the consent choice you made.

• Reset or Delete Your Advertising ID (Android 12+): Go to your device Settings > Google > Ads and tap "Delete advertising ID" or "Reset advertising ID".

• Opt Out of Personalized Ads: On older Android versions, enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your device's Google ad settings. You will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your interests.

---

6. Children's Privacy

• Dropblox is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area).

• If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through Dropblox, please contact us at brninteractive.games@gmail.com and we will help remove it.

---

7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA / CPRA)

Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, USA), you may have the following rights:

• Right to Know / Access: You can ask us what categories of personal data are processed in connection with Dropblox.

• Right to Withdraw Consent: Players in the EEA and UK can withdraw or change their ad consent at any time via Settings → Privacy Settings.

• Right to Erasure: All game data is stored on your device. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling Dropblox or clearing the app's storage in Android Settings. Data processed by Google AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

• Non-Discrimination: We will never penalize any player for exercising their privacy rights.

• Sale and Sharing of Personal Information: BRN Interactive does not sell personal information for money. Google AdMob may use your Advertising ID to show personalized ads, which some US state laws may consider "sharing" for advertising purposes. You can limit this by deleting or resetting your Advertising ID as described in Section 5.

---

8. Data Security

• Local Data: Game progress is stored inside the Android application sandbox and is not accessible to other apps.

• Transmission Security: Communication between the Google AdMob / UMP SDKs and Google's servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.

---

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the game or to legal requirements. The latest version will always be published at this URL, and the "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly. Continued use of Dropblox after an update means you accept the revised policy.
