Droid@Screen is a stand-alone Java program that show the device screen of an Android phone on a computer. It's typically used for demo and training. The frame-rate limiting factor is the USB slow serial connection and the amount of bytes to transfer. Touch-input sending to the device is experimentally implemented.

eah.....I broke my Nexus 6 Screen. To the extent I see nothing. But the phone does power up I feel it vibrate, I can get it to show up on my computer when connected by USB to my Windows PC. Most of the time it just comes up as Android in the "Settings" > "Devices" section of Windows 10, but when looking in "Device Manger" it shows it under portable devices as "MTP Device" and you can't do anything with it. When looking at properties for the MTP device all options are grayed out (update drivers, uninstall drivers .Etc)......so yeah, I need to enable USB debugging so I can use droid@screen to emulate it on my PC screen. I already looked at this remote enable of USB debugging on XDA but I get lost trying to Install the USB driver from the SDK so that it appears as an ADB device How do I actually install the drivers from the sdk thingabubob I mean, I am not a computer moron I can do my fair share, but i'm lost here. Any help to get me further would be GREATLY appreciated.

Replace a cracked or scratched front glass panel or malfunctioning AMOLED display on your phone. This screen and digitizer assembly will renew the appearance of your front panel, restore touch function, and eliminate the dead pixels or flickering on an aging display.

The next layer is a flexible display that looks and feels kind of like plastic laminate. In front of that is a flexible touch layer followed by a flexible lens layer. And it's all topped with a hard exterior lens that works like a screen protector.

The shatterproof technology has long been promised by screen makers, but early attempts at flexible displays didn't quite do the trick. Phones like the LG Flex were innovative, but the slightly bendable screen could still shatter when dropped.

Motorola says the Droid Turbo 2 is designed to be shatterproof when dropped onto hard surfaces from a five-foot height. CNNMoney tested its claims by allowing a horse-drawn carriage to trot over the phone -- twice. It came out scratched, but otherwise unscathed. (Motorola recommends using a screen protector.)

Still, it's an impressive feat, and one that the rest of the smartphone industry would be smart to adopt. Motorola says that 37% of smartphone owners have cracked their screens, with one display shattering every two seconds.

The Droid line of smartphones has become Motorola and Verizon's showcase for innovative features that they believe will eventually enter the mass market. Past innovations have included turbo charging, long-lasting battery life and super-sharp screen resolution -- all of which are also included in the new Droid Turbo 2.

I've had the Motorola Droid since the first generation, and I love it. That is when it works. This phone goes spastic frequently where the touch screen just doesn't respond to anything and it jumps all over. I have been locked out of my phone for 12 hours now. I had it turned off with the battery out for most of that time minus popping it back in to check if it was working or not. I have a text from my coach that I need to see, but I can't do anything with the touch screen. The keyboard works, but the touch screen has no response at all. Is there a way to bypass the unlocking screen (just the regular slide across) by like holding certain keys together or some way that I can get into this phone!? I need to get in!

I can understand how frustrating that can be. I see that you have completed some troubleshooting steps already. We need to further troubleshoot the issue as there is no other option to navigate through the device without the touch screen working. Please send me a PM at your earliest convenience with your mobile number and a contact number where you can be reached. I will contact you to further assist you with your device.

Hi I have the exact same problem where the screen of my Droid phone first generation does not work. I cannot unlock it and I'm afraid I have lost all of my business contacts and have some text messages I need. If there is a way you can message me or call me to walk me through I would greatly appreciate any help.

Same problem.........my screen will not even light up!!! Was working fine until the upgrade and now I am having all kinds of problems. Tonight has been the worse! My battery went dead after not even using the phone hardly, then my screen completely stopped working and now it freezes up when try to tun on. Stays on the Droid screen.

Phone is stuck in the middle of booting up, on the "Droid" screen, just past the encryption password screen. Pressing and holding the power button re-boots, but it just gets stuck in the same spot. I cannot figure out how to factory reset the phone since it is neither "off" nor fully "on". All the other forums I've found suggest removing the battery, but this phone does not have a removable battery. How can I get past this stuck screen? If I can't do that, how can I factory reset the phone? I have not installed any custom ROMs or anything like that...

I have this problem right now. My Droid Turbo gets frozen on the boot screen for 5-20 minutes, then eventually boots up, then after a little while freezes and I have to restart it. Then when its booting up it freezes again, over and over.

I have been having the same issues with my turbo also. I have factory reset it and everything, just to have it turn on but get stuck on the boot up screen that says droid so beyond FRUSTRATED!!!!!! I had the phone for only a month when I was using it and it got REALLY HOT and just shut off, and then this is what has been happening so I had to switch back to my old cell phone and I am NOT HAPPY!!! e24fc04721
