Advanced Imaging Systems

Dr. Kim creates new systems for observing a target in a different way from conventional approaches. The principal investigator has actively worked on light-field imaging systems inspired by the architectures of insect-eye. The developed camera has already been applied in various fields such as mobile, surveillance, and biomedical applications. In addition, research for improving various monitoring systems is in progress and continuous efforts are being made for new breakthroughs.
