Currently, Dr. Monu Bhagat is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi. He worked as Chanakya Postdoctoral Fellow at the Deaprtment of Artificial Intelligence and AI4ICPS Innovation Hub, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He received his Ph.D. from Department of Computer Science & Engineering, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. He completed M. Tech. (CSE) from Kalyani Government Engineering College and B.Tech (CSE) from West Bengal University of Technology . He has more than 7 years of experience in Academia and research during which he has worked at Techno Main Salt Lake (Kolkata), Manipal University of Technology, Rajasthan, India, NIT Jamshedpur and IIT Kharagpur. He has published more than 20 research articles in quality journals and international conference Proceedings. He has supervised 3 M.Tech students and more than 30 B.Tech students. His research interests include Machine Learning, Image Processing, Explainable AI (XAI), Internet of Things (IoTs), Diffusion models.
He has hold academic administrative responsibilities like working as coordinator of NBA accreditation, NIRF Ranking, Course Structure design, Curriculum revision, Class Coordinator, Placement Coordinator of various batches of B. Tech, Computer Science & Engineering students.
