Dr Monica de Sousa is a General Practitioner with an interest in chronic disease management, care for the elderly, women’s health (including contraception and menopause management), mental health and preventative medicine. She performs Implanon insertion and removal.

Dr de Sousa graduated from Monash University in 2008 and became a fellow of the Royal Australian Collage of General Practitioners in 2014. She has a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Masters of Public Health from The University of Melbourne. 

Dr de Sousa is also a visiting General Practitioner at St Georges Health Service in Kew where she provides medical care for patients of the  Transitional Care Program. Outside of clinical practice, Dr de Sousa teaches medical students at Monash University and in her spare time she enjoys yoga and running.
