Dr Heer is originally from England. He completed his Medical training at Monash University in 2005 and received his training as a GP in Gippsalnd. During his General Practice training he completed a 6 month special skills training post in Paediatrics and received a Diploma in Child Health. Following completion of his GP training in 2011, he joined Boroondara Health and Wellness Centre. Working in rural Victoria helped him gain extensive experience across all areas of General Practice. Dr Heer’s other interests include Preventative Health, Mental Health, Men’s health, Sexual Health, Travel and Childhood Immunisations, and Aged Care.

Outside of work, he spends time with his family, playing soccer, cycling and likes to travel
