Learning how to drive in My Vehicle?
If you want to learn how to drive or get your driving license in my vehicle then the starting rate is $75 an hour. if you are close to the UT campus. Since I will be coming to you then it depends on how far you are that a travel fee of $5 up to $65 for the first hour may apply. So 2 hours may be $150 or $215 depending on your location if you're in the Knoxville area then it would be closer to $150, if you're out in the surrounding areas then it would be closer to $215 which is a mandatory minimum of 2 hours for all surrounding area request. Any additional same-day hours over 2 hours may be discounted!
Taking the Driver license test in my car?
Driver One request a 3 hour minimum for time used to help you get to and from DMV while waiting for you to take your driving test only on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
If you have used Driver One to teach you and I feel comfortable for you to use my vehicle to take your test then a flat rate of $175 to use my vehicle for test.
If you have used Driver One for 20 hours or more then you may use my vehicle for a flat rate of $125
Using my vehicle for taking the driving test after three classes or more depending on how well you do you can use my vehicle for the test for $175 after taking my classes or you can use a loaner vehicle which requires a $500 deposit if you pass the test you would get $250 back if you fail the test or damage car then no refund of the $500 this is for people that need to use a car to take the test that have no access to a vehicle
I will only be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to take a DMV test so you must schedule those days only if any day other than Tuesday or Wednesday like a Friday morning between 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. then the cost would be $100 more because I would have to take off work for you to take your test.
If you want to have a session on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 10am for 1 hour it would be $150 or 2 hours $200
Using my Vehicle requires a higher price than if we used your vehicle due to wear & tear use since I am also being your ride to your lesson.
