Mach-E Worthy of the Stang?

It has been almost a year since Ford unveiled the Mustang Mach-E to the world. The highly anticipated vehicle has cause a huge controversy amongst car enthusiasts. Many believe that the Mustang legacy has been tainted and disrespected by the current corporate heads at Ford Motor Company. I don't blame the outrage of the people. It's kind of hard to understand how one of the most iconic sports cars of America is suddenly being thrown in the mix with family crossovers.

What is next for the Mustang? A minivan with a dedicated station to change diapers? Hopefully not because it looks like the Mustang legacy is holding by a thread in social media. FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) Has done a great job giving customers what they want. They are pretty much fitting the most powerful engines to their line up of vehicles. Ford on the other hand is making the Mustang into a crossover vehicle that you can plug in when you get home. Honestly there is nothing wrong with that. When I first saw the Mustang Mach-E I was really enthusiastic about it and saw the potential in the vehicle. However, "HYPE" is like that really nice buzz you get when you're a few drinks in. You don't want to drink too much or let that buzz go away to enjoy the night. Well, that's what hype is to me, and I believe that Ford let that Hype go away. The Mustang Mach-E became stale and lost the speed that it had when it was first unveiled.

Okay when you really think about what Ford is trying to do then you can see why maybe we are all wrong or just bitter. The more I think about it then it becomes more clear to me that Ford is actually giving the Mustang badge the recognition it deserves. Ford is working on turning that galloping horse into it's own brand. The reason for that is because the Mustang logo holds the standard of a high performance vehicle made for the most hardcore fans ranging from the age of 16-65+. Giving the Mustang the same kind of treatment that Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and others have is just the least that Ford can do. If anything all these car enthusiasts should be excited for the future of Mustang. I hope to see better performing Mustangs with higher quality materials and unique technology. Turning Mustang into its own brand will hopefully set new standards for the vehicles that will hold the badge.

At the time of me wrtiting this article Ford released this teaser photo. It looks like a high performance version of the Mustang Mach-E. It is believed that this Mach-E will be an RTR model. The reason for that is because RTR also teasted this photo on their social meadia pages. This is very exciting because we are entering a new chapter in electric vehicles. We are officially in a high perfomance electric vehicle era, similar to the 60's. Thank you for reading, stay positive and stay buzzed.
