Drink Tracker (the “App”) is operated by Leonardo Hess (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

We do not create user accounts.
Your data is stored either on your device or in your personal iCloud account, depending on your settings.
2. Information You Provide
The App allows you to enter and track information, which may include:
Logged entries (e.g., tracked “drinks”)
User-defined goals or limits
App settings and preferences
This information is stored only as described below.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
A. On-Device Storage (default)
Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. The data is not transmitted to our servers.
B. iCloud Sync (optional)
If you choose to enable iCloud sync:
Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Store services.
Data is associated with your Apple ID and managed by Apple.
We do not access, collect, or store this data on our own servers.
Your use of iCloud is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
4. Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or process your personal data on our servers. Specifically, we do not:
Collect personally identifiable information
Track your usage across apps or websites
Sell or share your data with third parties
Use your data for advertising or marketing
5. Third-Party Services
The App relies on Apple’s iCloud (Key-Value Store) if you enable sync. Apple may process your data in accordance with its own privacy practices. For more information, please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or external tracking services.
6. Data Security
Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s security (such as passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). Data stored in iCloud is protected by Apple’s security infrastructure. Because we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot access, retrieve, or delete it on your behalf.
7. Data Retention
On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. iCloud data remains in your iCloud account until you remove it. We do not retain copies of your data.
8. Your Choices
You have full control over your data:
You may use the App entirely offline.
You may enable or disable iCloud sync at any time.
You may delete your data within the App or by removing the App.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
