This Privacy Policy describes how Drimr ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. Summary
Drimr is a task and habit management app designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate servers that collect or store your personal task data. We use limited, anonymized analytics and crash-diagnostic tools to understand how the App is used and to fix bugs — this data is not linked to your identity. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
2. Information We Collect
Data you create in the app. Tasks, habits, categories, notes, subtasks, due dates, and related content you enter into Drimr are stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. We do not have access to this data, and it is not transmitted to us or to any server we control.
iCloud sync (if enabled). If you are signed in to iCloud on your device and this feature is enabled, your task and habit data may be synced across your own devices using Apple's iCloud service. This sync is handled directly by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy and terms; Drimr does not have access to your iCloud-synced data, and it is not visible to us.
Notifications. Drimr schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of upcoming tasks and habits. These reminders are generated and delivered entirely on-device through Apple's notification system. We do not use a push notification server, and no notification content is sent to us.
Analytics and crash diagnostics. Drimr uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes. This includes anonymous interaction events (such as which screens and features you use, e.g. creating a task or starting a focus session), an anonymous device/installation identifier used only to distinguish unique users in aggregate, and technical crash logs when the App encounters an error. None of this data includes your task or habit content, your name, or any other information that identifies you personally, and it is never used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Drimr does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
App Store ratings. Drimr may use Apple's built-in SKStoreReviewController to ask you to rate the app. This interaction is handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive or store any information related to your rating or review.
Information you send us directly. If you contact us via the "Contact the Team" option in the app, or by emailing us directly, we will receive your email address, the content of your message, and any other information you choose to include. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and improve the app.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, precise location, contacts, photos, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. Drimr does not integrate any third-party advertising networks or cross-app tracking technologies. Our analytics and crash-reporting tools (described above) are not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
4. How We Use Information
The information described above is used only to:
- Respond to your questions, feedback, or support requests
- Diagnose and fix bugs, including through automated crash reports
- Understand aggregate feature usage so we can improve the App's design and reliability
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating and supporting the App.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:
- Apple Inc., to the extent iCloud sync, push notification infrastructure, or App Store services are used, all governed by Apple's own privacy policy
- Google LLC, which provides the Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics infrastructure used to collect the anonymous usage and crash data described in Section 2, governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
- Where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or governmental request
6. Data Storage and Retention
Your task and habit data lives on your device (and, if iCloud sync is enabled, in your personal iCloud account) for as long as you keep the App installed or choose to retain it. Deleting the App, or deleting individual tasks/habits within it, removes that data from your device. Anonymous analytics and crash data collected via Firebase is retained by Google in accordance with Firebase's standard data retention policies and is not linked to your identity. Support emails you send us are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, after which they are deleted.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Because your task and habit data is stored locally on your device (and optionally in your own iCloud account), you are always in control of it:
- You can view, edit, or delete any task or habit at any time within the App
- You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings
- You can disable iCloud sync for the App at any time in your device's iCloud settings
- You can request deletion of any information you've sent us directly (such as support emails) by contacting us at the address below
8. Children's Privacy
Drimr is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect any information you send to us directly. Data stored locally on your device benefits from the security protections built into iOS and, where applicable, Apple's iCloud service.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
