Book and Bagels

In conjunction with Read Across America. On Friday, organize an event to encourage parents to read with their students by providing bagels and smear, juice and milk, and space to read. Students bring their own books. Plan to serve 350-400 people. Call 4-5 Einstein's at least 4 weeks in advance to reserve their "end of day" bagels. Then, pick the bagels up the night before the event a few minutes before each Einstein's closes. Slice bagels ahead of event. ** Consider dietary requirements to include all students.
