May 18, 1951 - February 5, 2016

It is with deep sadness that we say farewell to our daughter and sister Olinda, who passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016, after a short illness. Olinda will be deeply missed by her mother Aurora Fernandes and her sisters Loreta, Olivia, Eva and Lorna, as well as their spouses. She leaves behind her nieces Nessa and Lauren, nephew Jason and beloved grandnieces Ashley and Sunaya and grandnephews Joshua, Arayan and Sayshen.

Family and friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home "Scarborough Chapel" (Tel:416-773-0933), 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (West of Warden Ave.), on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 2:30-3:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. A private cremation will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Donations may be made to the Rainbow Flame Medicine Lodge or the Canadian Cancer Society.
