With God’s grace and mercy we are profoundly saddened to announce the peaceful passing at home of our brave, valiant hero Dominic De Souza after a courageous battle with cancer on October 2, 2014.

Beloved husband of Rose, loving father of Denise De Souza, Daphne and Paul Schenk and proud Papa of Deshon Schenk.

Forever cherished brother, of Anthony (Elma), George (Irene), Amy (late Adolf), Raymond (Julie), Diana (Joey) and Mervyn (Purie). Dominic will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews the many extended family and dear friends.

Following a 35 year career with Sears Canada, Dom’s active ‘retirement’ included travelling around the world, weekly badminton games and socializing with lifelong and new friends at the 55 Plus Goan Association events.

A man of few words, Dominic’s acts of kindness will long be remembered.
