Aura de Sousa Rodrigues, 1923-2013 was a wonderful human being who with her simplicity touched the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. A teacher by profession, she did not pursue a career after her marriage to Arnold Rodrigues (Carmona, Goa) but spent her life serving her family and teaching her children, a life if love, sacrifice and dedication. She was the daughter of the late Dr. A. C. L de Sousa and Dr. Mary de Sousa, pioneering doctors, educationist and journalist in Kenya whose contribution to the Goan community is legendary.
