Karen Selene Ruiz Øye

I am a second-year Master's student in cognitive science in the Cog-SUP program at Sorbonne Université and Université Paris Cité. In collaboration with Nicolas Decat and under the supervision of Delphine Oudiette, my current work applies data-driven approaches to investigate mental experiences at the wake-sleep transition and their neural signatures. More broadly, I am interested in the neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying altered states of consciousness, including those occurring during sleep, meditation, and psychedelic states.
