Uisci Eolais, or Deora Eolais, or Uisci Deora, was one of the god-dragons Kasw created at the dawn of time to help keep the balance of the world. She has incredible powers of foresight, shared in part with her descendants. Traditionally, she would give cryptic advice to the hopeless and lost, if they could find the secret lake she called home. Her only price was a night spent in her embrace. She had many children as a result, and traces of her blood can still be found today, although those so-called "lake children" are hunted mercilessly by the empire. One night, she foresaw her own demise, and two-fold tesseracted away to a safer place and time. She has been missing for thousands of years, and no one knows when or where she will reappear. The gods theorize that she erased herself from the threads of time, for not even her strongest children have been able to foresee her return.Â
Her name means "waters/tears of infinite knowledge". Her tears held fantastic power. They were used by Markus to help create the Deep Mirror, and gave life to the first threadweeds.
