Description ;

A polite well mannered and playful woman who is for the most friendly and welcoming, but at the same time very vicious and intimidating. The general rule of thumb is that as long as you don't cross her or actively harm any of her spiders she is kind or at least cordial to you. Muffet remains one of the more morally grey monsters in the underground, she's not afraid to do some very questionable, back handed or even outright cruel things to further her goals. No one would dare call Muffet outright evil though, she's rarely if ever malicious or cruel to those she deems to be undeserving of it. 

She is largely known to be fiercely dedicated to her family and spider kind in general, she's extremely protective of her loved ones and those generally close to her. Muffet may not be necessarily kind or soft to everyone but to those she's friends with she's one of the best allies you could have.

Biography ;

Muffet's parents both fought in the war against humanity way back when, her father dying in the line of battle and her mother joining the monsters in the underground not long after his passing. Little did her mother know she was soon due to lay eggs, this is where Muffet came in. Of all the species of monster that came to the underground, spiderkind took it the hardest. Having rapidly declined in numbers and due to the negative reputation already associated with them there were very few willing to come to their aid.

Muffet's mother attempted to do her best despite this and raise her daughter with all the love she could, even teaching her baking and encouraging her love of the craft. The two had an extremely sweet bond, but tragically it was not meant to last. One day a human fell into the underground and robbed her mother blind, when she attempted to defend herself....she was killed. Muffet was barely ten years old at the time. From then on she had been on her own with only her and the other spiders in the underground to keep her company growing up. She largely was raising herself and also raising several others.

 Muffet quickly learned perseverance, learning to stay at least somewhat positive in harsh times and continue on despite that. Muffet would dedicate her life to restoring spider kind to it's former glory and made things better for her people. Whatever the cost may be.
