Description ;
Frisk is a young, friendly, sociable and frankly somewhat goofy kid. They’re welcoming and kind to everyone they meet, always venturing off with a smile. Of course, they are still a child, Frisk can be plenty immature and their playful nature can border more on being annoying rather than endearing. Big surprise, the child can be childish. However, they always mean well. Most would say their most notable feature is their fearlessness but also their determined spirit. Frisk despite the danger and despite the risks will always face any challenge head on, while always saying true to their principles. Even if they fail or die several times in the process, Frisk just simply never knows when to give up. They’ll mess up, they’ll trip, and they will fall. But Frisk always gets back up.
They remain an implacably compassionate person who perseveres even in the face of adversity. The human even in the worst of circumstances refuses to hurt anyone and constantly sees the best in others even when they themselves don’t. They not only welcome new friends, but once they have them Frisk is loyal to them to a fault. On top of being a surprisingly independent and capable kid, despite some hiccups they often venture out on their own with ease and are often able to take care of themselves with a certain ease that’s not common for their age.
Biography ;
Frisk had a less than ideal home life, their mother was forced to marry her husband purely due to the fact she had gotten pregnant and her family would disown her for being an unwed mother. The marriage between the two was loveless and quickly grew bitter as a result. Frisk’s mother made it painfully clear to Frisk that she never wanted them and constantly chastised them for being “difficult” as they grew. Frisk’s father did not stay in their life for very long, leaving when Frisk was barely five and never being seen since. Their Mother blamed Frisk for him leaving.
Growing up Frisk led a very empty life, their mother didn’t mistreat them but made it very clear she did not care about them and was only taking care of them out of obligation. Frisk was lonely more often than not, they attempted to get their mothers attention via constantly causing trouble when that they didn’t work they tried to be an “easy child” in a vain attempt to earn their mothers love but it ultimately failed in all regards. At a certain point Frisk was basically raising themselves, having normalized their poor treatment and convincing themselves that despite everything that their mother did love them in her own way.
On one fateful day, Frisk had simply grown bored and then heard some fellow children talking about the legends regarding Mt. Ebott. Despite the constant talk of any travelers disappearing, the human couldn’t stop the growing curiosity that they felt and given that they lacked any supervision or anyone to stop them. They wandered off, simply choosing to look around, see if there was any merit to the legends, and then eventually return home. However, when approaching the top of the mountain, in typical clumsy Frisk fashion they fell. And they fell deep within the Underground.
They survived the fall by some miracle, though certainly didn’t get out without a few cuts and bruises. And despite at first being attacked, they were quickly taken under the wing of Toriel. The Keeper of the Ruins who wished to protect any children that happened to fall into the Underground. This is where Frisk not only met an important friend and ally, Chara, the long passed spirit of the first human to ever fall into the ground but also where they discovered a new ability they had.
