This Privacy Policy explains how Dread Ahead ("the Game") collects, uses, and protects your information.

The Game collects the following types of information:
- Player-generated data: nickname, game statistics (scores, kills, playtime, accuracy), and loadout preferences (weapons, backpacks, upgrades).
- Device data: a unique anonymous player ID generated automatically by Unity Gaming Services (UGS) Authentication.
- Social data: friend codes and friend lists if you use the Friends feature.
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or payment information unless you explicitly link a Google Play account.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:
- Save and restore your game progress across devices via Unity Cloud Save.
- Enable the Friends feature so you can connect with other players.
- Display leaderboards and statistics within the Game.
- Improve gameplay experience and fix bugs.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. GOOGLE PLAY SIGN-IN (OPTIONAL)

5. DATA RETENTION

Your game data is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in, on Unity's cloud servers. You may request deletion of your cloud data by contacting us at the email below. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the Game.

Dread Ahead is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We rely on Unity Gaming Services' industry-standard security measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
