Our lab is working on rare genetic diseases (RGD) specifically the myopathies. The long-term goal of our lab is to understand the genetic and molecular basis of RGD, identify novel therapeutic targets, and contribute to find and develop innovative treatments for patients affected with these debilitating conditions, using computational, multi-omics and machine learning approaches.
Potential students, pursuing or completed masters in subjects Bioinformatics or Computational Sciences with proficiency in coding languages like Python, R, and Perl, along with a keen understanding of machine learning algorithms can enquire for internship/project positions by sending their one-page CV along with one page proposal to devinderkaur@mail.jnu.ac.in.
